C&C Power is excited to sponsor the 7×24 Exchange New York City quarterly event. The 7×24 Exchange Metro NY Chapter serves as a vehicle to carry out the 7×24 Exchange’s mission at the local level through regional meetings and seminars.
By providing an educational forum to IT and facility professionals, we aim to promote the sharing of experiences and facilitate a better understanding of the design, implementation and management issues involved in achieving high levels of uninterrupted infrastructure support.
On October 23rd, Curtis Ashton of American Power Systems will be moderating a panel discussion at the Tailor Public House from 4-7 pm. The Tailor Public House restaurant is located at 505 8th Avenue in New York City between 34th and 35th Street.
The topic of this 7×24 Exchange New York City event will focus on the 855 battery code adoption locally and nationally. This will include the current version and future versions. The NFPA 855 standard was developed to provide safety guidance for the growing use of lithium-ion batteries. These types of batteries are used in uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS) that provide emergency power in data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
