Job Type: Full-time
The Quality Technician inspects, tests, and troubleshoots electrical products to make sure they comply with order requirements, quality standards, and testing procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to all C&C manufacturing assembly/inspection/test procedures.
- Guide manufacturing when needed, including assisting with problem resolution.
- Test equipment based on documented and/or verbal instruction.
- Record meter readings and calibration data to ensure compliance with standards.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing documentation including shop orders, customer orders, customer purchase orders, quotes, and special instructions.
- Support calibration and preventative maintenance programs including certifying tools, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting results.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area including equipment carts.
- Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships and promote a team environment.
- Provide feedback to managers on improvements, defective equipment, and safety concerns.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of hand tools, multi-meters, and power tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of basic safety rules.
- Professional attitude and demeanor.
- Respond willingly to changes in assignments.
- Understand in detail how work at hand meets customer needs.
