C&C Power's Large Modular DC Power Systems are ideal for central office, telecom hotels, and other applications requiring 100 to 20,000 amps of power. The modular design allows the customer to build for their requirements today and easily expand for the future.
The MDS (Main Distribution System) is a completely modular unit capable of accepting fuse and breaker combinations from 1 to 1000 Amps. The new MDS allows for maximum flexibility in power distribution. Each unit is capable of distributing a maximum of 5000 Amps with an optional dual bus system available. The MDS houses a main microprocessor and display with single point controls allowing system adjustments such as high and low voltage disconnect settings, high and low voltage alarm settings, float voltage settings, temperature alarm settings, overload current settings, and equalize voltage settings.
The Power Rack incorporates the rectifier bays which house the 150 amp switch-mode rectifier modules. Each rack can deliver up to 1350 amps of power.
The PDS (Power Distribution System) is a fully modular secondary or downstream power distribution system. It is designed to hold fused pullouts, circuit breakers, or a combination of both. Each system can hold a maximum of 120 breakers and/or fuse pullouts, up to four buses and distribute 2400 amps of power. The modular busbar design makes it easy to configure a system that offers a cost effective solution for distributing power. The unit also incorporates a main microprocessor and display for each bus in the system; providing a full complement of alarms with audible and visual indication. Single point control for system settings using a four button keypad and bright; easy to read vacuum fluorescent display allow for user-friendly operation.
