C&C Power’s Wall Mount Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBS) is a three position UPS bypass switch available in multiple configurations. The MBS allows the user to put the UPS system into three modes of operation. When setting the switch to the normal position, utility power is connected to the UPS input. When the switch is set to the test position, the UPS output to the critical load is disconnected while maintaining utility power to the UPS input and to the critical load. When set to the bypass mode, the MBS connects utility power directly to the critical load while removing it from the UPS input.

The MBS utilizes a make-before-break type switch which ensures a connection at all times. The MBS is rated from 40 to 63 amps at 120-208 / 240 VAC single phase.
